The Wallauer Mittsommerlauf is an evening running event in Wallau, a district of Hofheim am Taunus in Hesse, finishing at the Sportplatz am Rheingauer Weg. The event features 3 km and 10 km races on one-lap loops. The 3 km race begins earlier in the evening, followed by the 10 km race. TV Wallau 1861 e.V. organizes the event, which is part of a local race tradition that has been advertised as the original since 1996.
The course is simple: participants select either a short, flat loop or the full 10 km distance, with all races concluding at the sports ground. Both adults and youth are eligible for the 3 km and 10 km races, with results categorized by youth and adult age groups. Additionally, children’s and youth races are part of the program. The event's webpage provides the race announcement, course details, results, photographs, sponsor information, and a dedicated sign-up for volunteers.
