6. Globus-Theißen-Lauf 2026

The Globus-Theißen-Lauf is a running and walking event in Theißen, taking place at the Stadion der Bergarbeiter in June. SV Eintracht Theißen - LA-Club is the organizer, with a morning schedule beginning with the youngest children before the longer youth and adult races commence. The program ranges from a 400 m Bambini race to a 14 km race, structured more as a community race day than a single-distance road race. The shorter races include 1.5 km and 3 km for children in the U10, U12, and U14 groups; the 3 km is also open to participants beyond youth categories. Youth and adults may compete in the 7 km or 14 km races, and a 7 km walking event is available for Jedermann participants. A Special Olympics run is included in the schedule. Runners from U14 upwards require a valid start license, contributing to the event's club-athletics structure alongside its open local character.
