Holiday Luminary 5K 2026

The Holiday Luminary 5K is a holiday-season 5K run and 1-mile walk held at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens in Kansas. Participants travel along the Arboretum’s garden paths while its holiday light display is set up, offering an early view before the display opens to the public. The course is designed around the lights, not solely for speed or competition, with music and cookies provided. Finishers get light-up medals, and the finish area includes additional holiday activities. Midwest Endurance Race Co. organizes the event, which focuses on the appeal of seeing the Arboretum illuminated for the season while completing an accessible 5K or 1-mile route.
