5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Weaselhead Flats 2026

Weaselhead Flats defines this race: autumn colors underfoot and among the trees, with the Weaselhead Natural Area surrounding the course in a wilder feel than expected so close to the city. This marks the 5th and final stop of the Central Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, and the course highlights the autumn colors through a park that is home to wildlife. The day features the typical trail-series structure: children start first, followed by runners and hikers self-seeding into the main waves. The course's technicality means dogs, headphones, strollers, and poles are not permitted.
