Excalibur Race KIDS I. Helfštýn 2026

Excalibur Race KIDS I at Helfštýn is a children’s obstacle course race held within the grounds of Helfštýn Castle, one of Central Europe’s largest castle complexes. The children’s race begins in the morning, with registration on-site before the start. It is part of a larger Excalibur Race day that also features KIDS II and a DOG OCR race. The course incorporates the castle’s setting: runners navigate historic areas, rocky terrain, and ascents through a dark forest near the Moravian Gate. The surrounding landscape, home to rabbits, wild boar, deer, and wolves, lends the location a wilder atmosphere than a typical park race. Families receive more than just the race, with a children’s fun zone, try-on obstacles, food, and an all-day program. Helfštýn is also scheduled as the season’s Grand Finale venue, offering access to castle areas typically off-limits to racers, league awards to crown the series’ new champions, and a concluding party within the castle.
