Schwelmer Citylauf - NRW

Schwelmer Citylauf is a road running event in Schwelm, North Rhine-Westphalia, typically held in September with a midday start. The program accommodates the entire town, not just elite runners: adults can choose between 10 km or 5 km races, while shorter events of 1 km, 500 m, and 200 m are available for children, school groups, teams, companies, relay runners, and charity participants. TG Rote Erde Schwelm organizes the event, which debuted in 2013 and now attracts between 1,001 and 3,000 participants. The course is AIMS/IAAF measured, with timing provided by race result. The event features musical acts along the route, refreshments at the course and finish line, medals for all participants, certificates, age-group trophies, prize money, personalized bibs, and a bib-number lottery.
