Andaina Outono 2026

The Andaina Outono begins on the banks of the River Sil in O Barco, organized by Club Pena Trevinca O Barco. Participants can select from a 13.5 km walk, a 13.5 km short trail, or a 22 km trail. Approximately 240 individuals participate, with 70 in the short trail. The walk and short trail follow a straightforward circuit, whereas the long trail has the organizers as highly technical and challenging. The course starts at El Malecon, crosses the Sil via a footbridge, and passes through Viloira before following the stream channel. It then ascends towards Soulecin and enters Castro de Villarino, the point where the longer trail diverges from the shorter routes. Women constitute about 20% more of the walkers than men. However, the organizers have expressed a desire for increased female participation in the trail races; the women's long trail was not held due to insufficient entries.
