Arnedillo Trail 2026

The Arnedillo Trail is an autumn mountain-running event held in Arnedillo, located in La Rioja's Cidacos Valley. The Arnedillo City Council organizes this event, which features two trail races and a non-competitive hike. It is included in the La Rioja Mountain Races - Chiruca Experience circuit. The 26 km race has 1,370 m of elevation gain, presenting a technical course with extended, steady ascents. The 15 km race, gaining 780 m, is described as fast yet distinctly mountainous. For those preferring a less competitive outing, the 15 km hiking route offers the same natural setting. As this is the event's fourth edition, its character remains closely linked to the local town and the Cidacos Valley, rather than extensive historical race traditions.
