Burdinmendi Trail Fest 2026

Burdinmendi Trail Fest is a trail-running and canicross event held in Artzentales, Bizkaia, with starts and finishes at Plaza San Miguel. The main Alimoche Trail covers 13 km with 616 m of elevation gain, offering a compact distance suitable for a fast mountain race while still presenting a significant climb. The event also features a 13 km walk, allowing participants to cover the same distance without the competitive aspect. The festival structure provides runners and dog-and-runner teams with multiple options beyond a single race. Burdinmendi Txakurtrail is an 8.5 km canicross race, and El Roble Txakurrosa is a 3.5 km canicross route. Bib pickup takes place at Ayuntamiento San Miguel in the morning, keeping the event focused on the village square before participants depart for the trails surrounding Artzentales.
