Calamochos Bike Race 2026

The Calamochos Bike Race is a mountain bike event held in the Sierra de Gredos, centered on a ride to the Calamochos prairie, which lends the race its name. It is framed as a day combining sport and nature in the mountains, with participants navigating varied terrain and vegetation while keeping the valley in sight for a significant portion of the route. The course connects several local landmarks: the Caseriles pine, the Collado refuge, the Majamel refuge, the Pastizal, Alacrán Pass, and the Cereceza, Chorrera, and Rojuelos gorges. The event also provides the amenities participants anticipate after a demanding mountain excursion, including commemorative socks, nutrition products, other gifts in the participant bag, X-Sauce product packs offered through a technical partner, and a post-race gathering for recovery.
