Les Courses de l'Indien is a road race held in Orléans La Source, the southern district of Orléans in the Loiret, France. Taking place every third Sunday in October since 1975, it is the oldest road race in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The main event is a 21.097 km half marathon, accompanied by 10 km and 5 km races. ASPTT Orléans organizes the event, with the three races attracting over 1,000 participants.
The half marathon course is flat, fast, measured, and FFA-certified, serving as a qualifier for the French championships with a bronze FFA label. The 10 km race also features a measured, bronze-label FFA course and can qualify runners for the French championships. The 5 km is a timed popular race without official FFA measurement or label. The event caters to club runners aiming for standards, road racers seeking a fast course, and local runners preferring a shorter distance. Practical race-day provisions are maintained, including aid stations, medical support, an ambulance, and time limits for the longer races.
