Les Foulées du Rail is a running event in the Creuse, starting from Saint-Sébastien and following the old railway corridor that once linked the area with Guéret. The train service is gone, but the railway platform remains, and the race uses that leftover line for trail-style distances: 45 km, 21.1 km, a 3 x 7 km relay challenge, and 10 km.
The railway theme is present throughout the event, from names like La Quai 45, La Ferroverte, and La 23 Express to the playful instruction that the TER toward Guéret departs from platform B. ASC La Croisière organizes the race from Dun-le-Palestel, and the entry list is varied: cadets can enter the 10 km and relay, juniors can run the half-marathon distance, and the 45 km is open to the Espoirs category.
