Les foulées ludoises - Le Lude 2026

Les Foulées Ludois is a Sunday in October running event in Le Lude, organized by the local association Courir au Lude. The main program begins in front of the town hall with two timed road races: a 9.5 km option and a 19 km option. Later, a free, untimed 1 km race for children aged 8 to 12 and a 5 km race-walk linked to Octobre Rose follow. The route uses the town center and the paths of the Château du Lude park, offering runners streets and park trails instead of a simple out-and-back road course. The event is small but growing; 130 runners completed the two main races last year, and organizers anticipate around 240 for the upcoming edition. The Octobre Rose race-walk attracts a wider audience, with hundreds registered, pink bandanas for the first 400 participants, and all entry fees or donations directed to the Ruban Rose association.
