Trail de la Roche d'Oëtre - Saint-Philbert-sur-Orne 2026

The Trail de la Roche d'Oëtre is a trail race held in mid-October in Suisse Normande, beginning near Saint-Philbert-sur-Orne in Normandy. Activ'Orne, a volunteer-run association in Putanges-Le-Lac, organizes the event, with registration opening in May. The race takes place in a trail network featuring valleys, rivers, wooded paths, and routes suited to various skill levels, attracting both novice trail runners and those seeking a technical challenge. A 15.98 km route, the Escapade de la Roche d'Oëtre à la Branle, offers a sample of the terrain, featuring 554 meters of elevation gain and loss, with altitudes ranging from 54 to 187 meters. This course crosses Roche d'Oëtre and the Meanders of the Rouvre, utilizing forest tracks and technical singletrack over flat road sections. Activ'Orne also hosts the Trail du Lac, which evolved from a road race in La Forêt Auvray to a nature-focused event and eventually a more demanding trail race with technical terrain and significant elevation changes.
