Dartmoor Way Granite 50 2026

The Dartmoor Way Granite 50 begins at 7:00am in Scoriton, near Buckfastleigh in Devon. The 50-mile ultra crosses Dartmoor National Park. Outeredge Events organises the race, which runs concurrently with the Dartmoor Way Full Circle 100, offering participants a shorter, yet demanding, version of the Dartmoor Way challenge. The course incorporates the High Moorland link section in the southern part of the moor. It follows waymarked trails south initially, then curves north around Dartmoor's eastern flank. Runners will pass Bovey Tracey, Manaton, Moretonhampstead, and Chagford before reaching the finish in Okehampton. Several sections of open moorland are included. Race accounts indicate typical Dartmoor terrain: even in fair weather, the ground can be very wet underfoot.
