Kingfisher Challenge: 6 Hour Running Race 2026

The Kingfisher Challenge is a 6-hour run at Coombe Abbey Park in Coventry, using a 3.3-mile lap rather than a set finish distance. Participants can complete any number of laps before time expires, making the event suitable as an initial long run, a leisurely day with companions, or a focused training session. The course follows stone paths, hard surfaces, wooded areas with bluebells, open meadow grassland, and includes one steep hill. Completing four laps equates to a half marathon, and eight laps to a marathon, though participants are not required to aim for these distances. The event benefits Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, with options for direct donations and JustGiving fundraising, ensuring all contributions directly support the charity.
