Ikrény's second I. KisTri Triatlon Fesztivál has a busy, race-day atmosphere instead of a polished presentation. Over two days, it functions as a complete "triathlon festival": with over 850 competitors, 20 precisely timed starts, national championship races, and evening finals that also serve as "Europe-championship qualifiers." It offers the practical blend familiar from strong local events: competitive racing at the front, many club participants, and space for novices to engage in the sport without feeling out of place. The competition centers on swim-bike-run events, from the youngest age groups through the demanding supersprint national championship race and the finals for the Ikrény champion titles. Amateurs and interested beginners can enter the "Try Triathlon!" race, with a unique finisher medal at the end, a thoughtful detail for a first-time tri finish.
