Gran Fondo Città di Poppi. 2026

Granfondo Città di Poppi is a June mountain bike event held in Poppi, offering two route options instead of a single set distance. The Gran Fondo course covers 45 km with 1,600 meters of elevation gain, and the Classic option is 25 km with 700 meters of climbing, demanding significant off-road fitness even for the shorter route. The event is part of the UmbriaTuscany MTB circuit and is organized by GS Poppi BP MOTION. It has been held for at least 15 years. Recent results indicate the course is challenging and fast: Cristian Cominelli won a 42 km version with 1,500 meters of elevation gain in under two hours, with Tassinari also finishing on the podium.
