ORBEA MTB-Challenge

The Orbea MTB Challenge starts at Sportpark Heidepark in Lemelerveld, sending mountain bikers and cyclo-cross riders out on a Sunday in November. Participants can choose between 40 km, 60 km, or 95 km routes. This is a Dutch off-road tour, not a timed road race, featuring signed routes and GPX files provided after registration. The course includes a mix of roads, forest paths, and singletrack through Salland and the Vechtdal, offering riders more variety than a basic gravel loop. Aid stations are available to provide food, drinks, and mechanical assistance. Team Sukerbiet organizes the event, with the entire 15 euro entry fee donated to charities the team supports. Past editions have received very positive feedback from participants.
