Hinnaløpet 2026

Hinnaløpet is a local running race in Hinna, Rogaland, starting and finishing at Hinna Idrettspark. Held in October, it offers two distances: the full Hinnaløpet route of 9.3 km, or the Hinnaberget 5980 route of approximately 6 km. Both are challenging loops, not flat city courses. The longer route goes from the sports area into Sørmarka, with about 70 percent on gravel and the remainder on asphalt. The shorter route uses the same start and finish as the 9.3 km race but omits the climb to Ullandhaug, presenting a more condensed version. The first and last kilometer of that course were modified to reduce traffic impact. Hinnaløpet has taken place since 1981 and is open to all runners, with live results available online. A detail contributing to its club-race atmosphere is its loyalty awards: participants are recognized for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of participation, receiving prizes such as medals, plaques, and art.
