Challenge Gdańsk is a triathlon race series in Gdańsk, Poland, featuring a swim in the Baltic Sea and a finish at Gdańsk Pier. The primary middle-distance event includes a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run. A sprint option offers a 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run. Additionally, there is a 5 km women’s run, a Junior Challenge with shorter swim-and-run distances, and a Tri Together option for both middle and sprint distances.
The course is flat for a triathlon, with the middle-distance bike and run each having only 8 m of elevation gain. The bike route is considered one of the world's fastest middle-distance courses. The run route follows the beach and a woodland park before concluding at the pier. The finisher zone is located on the beach. Typical race conditions are mild, with average air temperatures around 20°C, water around 17°C, and wind around 15 kph. Challenge Family athletes selected this race as their Race of the Year, and participants can also experience the Gdańsk course virtually on Rouvy.
