Świecie Biega Brzegiem Deczna is a June running event held along the shore of Lake Deczno. It takes place at the Deczno Recreation and Leisure Center in Sulnówek, near Świecie in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. The primary event is a 10 km run, complemented by children’s races on the same day, making it feel more like a family running day than a typical adult road race. The course features a mix of surfaces, incorporating forest paths and asphalt segments, with marked turns. The Świecie Biega Association is the organizer. Electronic timing is employed, and even the youngest participants receive race numbers with timing chips. There are limits on the number of participants. All runners will receive a commemorative medal, and additional family-oriented activities are scheduled around the races.
