12th ESTRELAÇOR ULTRA ENDURANCE 2026

EstrelAçor Trail Ultra Endurance is a mountain trail running series in Portugal’s Serra da Estrela and Serra do Açor, held in early October. Its main race is a 100 km ultra, with shorter 48 km, 32 km, and 16 km trail options, plus a non-competitive 16 km walk. The event is organized by Associação Desportiva Omundodacorrida.com and is for runners ready for long climbs, technical ground, and a full day in high mountain terrain. The routes use demanding trails through Serra da Estrela, including glacial valleys, high-altitude lakes, and mountain summits. The longer races are for adults aged 20 and over, while junior athletes aged 18 and 19 can enter the 16 km Trail Sprint. Runners in the 100 km and 48 km events may receive personal assistance, but only outside control and aid stations, making pacing, supplies, and decision-making part of the challenge.
