Skanneloppet begins and ends at Tingvalla nöjespalats in Åstorp, Sweden. This individual running race, organized by IS Skanne, releases runners in small waves of approximately ten starters each minute. Three course options are available, allowing elite and recreational runners to participate on the same race day over different distances and paces.
The courses are hilly, primarily on gravel roads with some asphalt and forest trail sections. The longest course measures 17.3 km and features elite categories along with masters classes for men and women. The race welcomes runners of all ages, and its long history is marked by its upcoming 61st edition.
