18th Annual United Way Turkey Trot

The United Way Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning run and walk held at Daffin Park in Savannah, Georgia. The primary event is a 4-mile race, preceded by shorter children’s races: a Kids K for ages 10 and under and a 35-yard Diaper Dash for ages 3 and under. It accommodates a wide holiday audience, with runners and walkers on the main course and strollers permitted. The route begins in Daffin Park, circles through the Ardsley Park neighborhood, and concludes back in the park. Participants may wear regular attire or Thanksgiving-themed costumes, and can remain for awards, food, and drinks post-race. Leashed pets are allowed with participants; rollerblades, roller skates, and bicycles are prohibited on the course. The event proceeds regardless of weather and benefits United Way of the Coastal Empire.
