Alan E. Sims Recreation Center 5K Walk 2026

The Alan E. Sims Recreation Center 5K Walk is a community walk in Cedar Hill, Texas, beginning at Red Oak Trail near 310 E. Parkerville Road. This 5-kilometer walk lasts one hour and is connected to the recreation center’s anniversary. The entry fee is $20, with children 12 and under participating for free. The walk kicks off the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center’s anniversary party, marking 21 years of service to the Cedar Hill community. Proceeds benefit after-school programs and youth services. Following the walk, the morning continues with an open house, performances, food trucks, and family activities.
