Dean Martin Hometown Festival: Dino Dash 5k Trail Run / Walk 2026

Dino Dash is a trail race at Historic Beatty Park in Steubenville, Ohio, located at 621 Lincoln Avenue. The main events include a 5k trail run and a 5k trail walk, both commencing at 9:00 a.m. A free Tot Trot for children aged 3 to 6 will begin shortly before these. Registration on race day opens at 7:30 a.m. The Dean Martin Association, Steubenville Parks and Recreation, and the Jefferson County General Health District are hosting the event, with assistance from The Friends of Beatty Park. The 5k course follows the Purple and Red trails within Historic Beatty Park, offering participants dirt paths through wooded areas rather than a road course. The route features small bridges, a creek crossing, natural obstacles, inclines, and a brief loop through Union Cemetery. Awards will be presented to the top finisher in each age category for both the run and the walk, with age groups ranging from 19 and under to 60 and over. All Tot Trot participants will receive medals.
