Santa Run 2026

The Silicon Valley Santa Run is a holiday 5K run/walk in San Jose focused on costumes, families, and Christmas in the Park. Participants can wear Santa, elf, reindeer, or other holiday character costumes, making the event resemble a moving holiday parade more than a typical road race. The main 5K course is flat and fast, and the series also features a Kids Reindeer Dash for children ages 2 to 7. Both the 5K and the kids’ dash are offered in person or virtually. The 5K begins on Santa Clara Street and concludes at Christmas in the Park, allowing participants to enter the displays, decorations, and booths immediately after the race. The event supports Christmas in the Park, directly linking the finish line to its supported cause. Each 5K participant receives a holiday long-sleeve tech shirt, an ornament-style finisher medal, and a timed bib. Children in the Reindeer Dash receive a festive shirt, bib, ornament-style medal, and milk and cookies at the finish.
