True Options Turkey Trot 2026

The True Options Turkey Trot is an annual 5K and Fun Run held at 402 W Pecan St in Sherman, Texas. It is a family-friendly morning race featuring a chip-timed 5K, a 1-mile Fun Walk/Run, and a Thanksgiving theme. Race-day packet pickup and registration open early. The Fun Run/Walk starts first, followed by the 5K with live results posted on race timing sites. All proceeds benefit True Options Pregnancy Center, supporting men and women facing unplanned pregnancy. The Fun Run includes a racing turkey participants can try to beat for a prize, and a "sleep in" option is available for those who want the shirt without the run. The 5K awards the top overall male and female finishers, plus first through third in age groups from kids through 70+.
