Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

The Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash is a Thanksgiving morning run/walk in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis, beginning at 9:00 AM. Participants select either the 4.3-mile Full Gobbler or the 2.6-mile Mini Gobbler. Those outside Indianapolis can participate via the virtual OuttaTownDashAround option. The race supports Wheeler Mission’s efforts with individuals facing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. All proceeds fund programs and services for men, women, and children locally. Its slogan, “Move your feet so others can eat,” aligns with the holiday, and the shorter course options allow it to serve as a practical family tradition, not solely for competitive runners.
