Over deze race
The OSHEE 10 km Night Run is a 10 km road race held at night in mid-April through central Krakow, Poland. It starts and finishes on the Main Square, placing runners in the middle of the old city to begin the evening, rather than on a distant sports ground. The field can reach 8,000 participants, and the race is for adults, with a 90-minute time limit.
The route remains in the city center, utilizing Krakow’s illuminated streets, historic buildings, and main landmarks. Runners pass through areas where the city’s architecture is prominent, finishing back near the Main Square. The Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, Wawel Castle, and Kazimierz are all close by for those remaining in the area after the race. The appeal is straightforward: a manageable 10 km distance, a large city-center field, and Krakow after dark providing the atmosphere.
