Om dette løpet
The Marathon P’tit Train du Nord is a point-to-point fall marathon held in Québec’s Laurentians on the first weekend of October. The full marathon begins in Val-David and concludes in Saint-Jérôme, utilizing the P’tit Train du Nord bike path for a route rich in nature. A half marathon in Piedmont is also part of the event, attracting both marathoners and those seeking a shorter race.
The course descends approximately 220 meters from start to finish, making it a draw for runners aiming for personal bests and Boston qualifying times. It is noted as one of Canada’s fastest marathons, with some sources identifying it as North America’s fastest course. The route crosses Laurentian forest and fall foliage, offering a more tranquil setting compared to major urban marathons. Aid stations provide XACT ENERGY and ELECTROLYTES drink, with XACT Nutrition serving as the official nutrition partner.
