MARATÓN SIERRA DE MIJAS 2026

Maratón Sierra de Mijas is a mountain trail race held in Mijas, within Spain’s Málaga province. The full marathon covers 42 km with 2,350 meters of elevation gain. Shorter distances are available: a 21 km half marathon with 1,150 meters of gain, and a 12 km mini marathon with 500 meters of gain. This event is open to a broad range of runners, not exclusively elite athletes, and is a fixture on the Málaga running calendar. The full marathon presents the most challenging route, featuring sufficient elevation to resemble a mountain excursion rather than a road marathon. Team entries are also available for the marathon, divided into male, female, and mixed categories. Club Polideportivo Mijas is the organizing body, and registration is managed via RockTheSport.
