Oldbury10 Mile - Thornbury Running Club 2026

The Oldbury 10 Mile is a flat, accurately measured race held on a Sunday in September. It takes place on quiet lanes by the River Severn and starts at 10:30am. This event usually forms part of the Avon Road Race Championships and is the third race in the Thornbury Running Club's 2026 series. The course records stand at 50 minutes 19 seconds for men and 57 minutes 09 seconds for women, with a £100 prize offered to anyone who breaks them. Runners receive a metal medal, and those who complete all three events in the 2026 series can link their awards to form a larger medal. There is also a prize for the man and woman with the fastest cumulative time across the series. Entries are handled online through Full on Sport, with no registration available on the day. Participants must be at least 18 years old and finish within two hours. Guide runners for visually impaired athletes enter for free.
