6th Annual Queenslake Mogadishu Mile Kentucky 2026

Queenslake Mogadishu Mile Kentucky is a free military-style obstacle challenge at Queenslake Horse Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky, held on the first Saturday of October. The race covers about 2.9 km across the farm grounds and is built around the words “Run. Honor. Remember.” The course includes five obstacles and is open to both teams and individual participants. Its purpose is direct: it honors the 19 American soldiers who died in the Battle of Mogadishu, where the desperate run through the streets of Somalia became remembered as the Mogadishu Mile.
