Circular Las Carboneras Trail 2026

The Circular Las Carboneras Trail is a 14-kilometer trail race held in Las Carboneras, Tenerife, beginning at the Plaza de Las Carboneras. It is included in the Tenerife Island CXM Circuit and is designed for mountain runners of varying abilities, suitable for those new to trail racing as well as experienced runners seeking a concise endurance challenge. The course follows rural paths surrounding Las Carboneras, featuring natural terrain with varied ascents and descents, differing from a flat road race. The Las Carboneras Festival Commission and Club Deportivo Vallivana are the organizers, with assistance from La Laguna’s municipal sports department and the Tenerife Mountaineering Federation. This race is in its eighth year, with its stated objectives being federated mountain running that respects the environment, alongside fostering local values of companionship, solidarity, and fair play.
