The Sant Silvestre del Masnou is a 5 km road race in El Masnou, Barcelona, run during the late-December Sant Esteve and San Silvestre racing period. It starts beside Ocata train station, in front of the town hall, and uses an officially measured two-lap course. It is the oldest San Silvestre-style race in Catalonia, carrying more local history than the average holiday 5K.
The main race heads out first toward Montgat, followed by children’s races toward Premià de Mar. The event draws a broad local field, with categories split by age group and gender. Recent editions have sold out at close to 2,600 bibs. Results are published through Championchip, bibs are not handed out on race day, and local race writers have described it as the most successful of the Sant Esteve races.
