Sea Otter Europe Girona - UCI Gravel World Series 2026

Sea Otter Europe is the cycling festival in Europe, organized in the capital city of Girona at the end of September. The festival has reached astonishing figures with over 64,000 visitors, more than 6,000 participants in sporting events, and over 402 exhibiting brands. The eighth edition features a complete sports program with challenges for competitive and amateur attendees, an exhibition area with top brands, demo circuits for enjoyment and bicycle testing, and activities for industry professionals. The new route for the 226ERS UCI Gravel World Series Sea Otter Europe Girona 2026 covers a distance of 109km with 940m of elevation gain. The course starts at the Càrniques Juià meatpacking plant and immediately features a long climb, followed by a technical descent. The race continues through forests and green landscapes with fast tracks, and a climb to Mas Llunas could decide the race before the final technical sections. A short but tough climb at KM100 could prove decisive before finishing within the Shimano Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Garmin cycling festival. The profile includes an initial 5.4km climb with an average gradient of 6.3%, with the terrain continuing to undulate.
