Trail du Vallon

Trail du Vallon is a nature trail race in Marcillac-Vallon, a village in Aveyron at the foot of the Massif Central. It takes place in October, offering routes for various skill levels: a 27 km trail, a 9 km trail, and a 16 km relay. The courses traverse hilly paths in the Vallon region, featuring vineyards, rolling countryside, technical singletrack, and vistas of rural Occitanie. A notable point on the course is the Saint-Jean-le-Froid chapel, where the relay exchange occurs near an aid station. The event's hiking segments support Pink October, with proceeds directed to La Ligue contre le cancer. Registration covers a cold meal, though on-site sign-ups incur a small additional fee.
