2026 Fall Prairie Fire Marathon presented by Davis-Moore Automotive Group

The Fall Prairie Fire Marathon begins by the Arkansas River in Wichita, Kansas, with the longer races starting shortly after sunrise. The series includes a marathon, half marathon, 5K, and the Mayor's Friendly 5K, which is untimed. This setup accommodates runners aiming for a full-distance finish and those seeking a relaxed morning run or walk. The course follows a path through downtown Wichita, goes by historic neighborhoods, crosses parks, and leads back to the river before concluding at Equity Bank Park. The weekend features a Saturday packet pick-up and vendor expo. Race morning continues post-finish with refreshments, local vendors, and an awards ceremony.
