Ocean View Half Marathon & 5K

The Ocean View Half Marathon & 5K begins in Ipswich, Massachusetts, guiding participants along the Great Neck coastline in November. This road race offers two choices: a USATF-certified half marathon and a 5K, both commencing in the morning. The half marathon has a three-hour time limit, and the 5K concludes in approximately one hour. The course combines ocean vistas with local history, crossing areas with some of the nation's earliest pre-Revolutionary homes. Participants include half marathoners, 5K runners, children 12 and under in the more affordable Kids 5K, and individuals participating as part of YuKan’s Six Pack Challenge for half marathons. All finishers receive medals, age-group awards are presented three deep in five-year categories, and the finish area provides coffee, pizza, and pastries.
