Sobre esta prova
GravelMan Anjou begins in Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Maine-et-Loire, guiding participants through the Anjou countryside, weaving between the Loire River, vineyard slopes, and small villages. This GravelMan cycling event offers ten distinct formats. These are divided into Gravel routes, which combine paths and roads, and Road routes, remaining almost entirely on asphalt. Distances range from 60 and 120 kilometers to 200, 350, and just under 500 kilometers, accommodating short rides, extended outings, and significant ultra-distance challenges.
The most demanding route spans nearly 500 km with approximately 5,000 meters of elevation gain. The 350 km course features around 4,000 meters of climbing, and the 200 km course includes about 2,500 meters. The routes traverse rural roads, tracks, river crossings, vineyards, sections along the Loire, and hillsides within the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Participants can select a less demanding option or opt for a self-sufficient endurance ride. GravelMan organizes the race in conjunction with Beaulieu Tourisme Animation and Team GravelMan.
