Sobre esta prova
Bieg po Truskawkę is a 10 km race held in Księży Las, a village within the Zbrosławice area of southern Poland. It takes place in June, with the event headquarters and race office located at the OSP Księży Las fire station. The name translates to “Run for the Strawberry,” and the race emphasizes this local fruit theme, distinguishing it from a typical 10K road race.
The course incorporates both asphalt roads and unpaved country paths, including stretches through natural areas surrounding Księży Las. Participants share the event with Nordic walking competitors, accommodating various paces and styles. Fundacja Bieg Rolnika organizes the race in conjunction with OSP Księży Las and local strawberry producer Manfred Skrzypczyk, contributing to the blend of sport, rural setting, woodland trails, and fruit featured on the day.
