Sobre esta prova
Challenge Gdańsk concludes at the Gdańsk Pier, with the finisher area located on the Baltic Sea beach. This June triathlon in Gdańsk, Poland, offers middle-distance, sprint, women’s run, and junior categories. The middle distance comprises a 1.9 km sea swim, a 90 km bike leg, and a 21.1 km run. The sprint consists of a 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run. Typical race conditions include mild temperatures around 20°C, with water at 17°C and wind at 15 kph.
The bike course is notably flat, featuring only 8 m of elevation for the middle distance, positioning it as one of the fastest middle-distance bike courses globally. The run route follows the beach and passes through a woodland park before reaching the pier finish. The event also provides "Tri together" entries for both middle and sprint distances, allowing athletes to participate as pairs. Junior Challenge races maintain short distances, with swims up to 400 m and runs up to 2000 m. The Gdańsk course is accessible virtually on Rouvy, and Challenge Family athletes previously selected it as Race of the Year.
