Adrenaline Races

The Adrenaline Races begin at 7:00 a.m. near downtown West Bend, Wisconsin. All distances start from the same location behind the River Shores/Cast Iron residential community on Village Green Way. Runners and ruckers can choose from a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, or ruck events in 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances. This is a simple out-and-back race series on a mostly flat route, with the initial and final 1.25 miles on paved asphalt. The course primarily uses the Eisenbahn Trail, a 25-mile path developed on an old railroad corridor; "Eisenbahn" translates to railroad in German. The trail is surfaced with limestone screenings and heads north from West Bend into the eastern Wisconsin countryside, approaching the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Half marathon participants will turn around in Kewaskum, while those in shorter run/walk distances will turn around north of West Bend. Food is available at the finish area, overall trophies are awarded to the top male and female finishers in most races, age-group medals are given three deep, and every participant gets a shirt and finisher medal.
