Irvington Vampire Run 2026

The Irvington Vampire Run is a Halloween 5K run/walk in south Irvington, part of the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. Participants can select the full Vampire Run package, including a shirt, bib, medal, beverage ticket, and official timing, or the Bare Bones 5K, which offers only the timed race without extra items. A virtual 5K with items is available for those unable to attend in person, alongside a free Little Bat Dash for children 12 and under. The 3.1-mile course winds through neighborhood streets shaded by trees and passes local landmarks such as the Kile Oak, Benton House, Bona Thompson Memorial Center, and Irving Circle Park. Vampire Run and Bare Bones runners begin simultaneously and contend for the same awards, meaning the less expensive option does not exclude participants from the main competition. The event is designed for both competitive racing and leisurely walking, with the Halloween Festival Street Fair providing a reason for attendees to remain in Irvington post-race.
