John P. McKeon Post Father's Day Race 2026

The John P. McKeon Post Father's Day Race is a 3.2-mile road race and walk held at John P. McKeon AMVETS Post #146 on Hilltop Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Walkers begin at 9:30 AM, and runners start at 10:00 AM. This Father's Day scholarship event is organized by the AMVETS post, offering a family registration option that suits the neighborhood-post atmosphere of the day. The course begins and ends at the post, with parking available in the adjacent lot. Runners vie for top-three male and female awards overall and within age groups from 14-and-under to 66-plus. Walkers also receive separate top-three male and female awards. The first 250 pre-registrants receive shirts, and the post hosts a post-race cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs.
