The S'mores Run Johnson City 2026

The S'mores Run in Johnson City is a four-mile timed fun run on the Tweetsie Trail, starting from the trail head on East Maple Street and finishing at Lion Field in Elizabethton. It runs on a Saturday afternoon in November and also offers a virtual option for people who want to cover the distance elsewhere. The in-person race is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes, with bib timing handled by We Run Events using B-tags attached to race numbers. The point-to-point setup means participants use shuttle service between the start and finish instead of simply looping back to where they began. Strollers are allowed from the back of the start group, and leashed, socialized dogs can join, but bikes, skateboards, and rollerblades are left out. After the finish, the event turns into a S'mores Extravaganza with music, food, and a $10 meal deal that sends part of each ticket to a local non-profit.
