Roller Coaster Trail Run

The Roller Coaster Trail Run is a mountain trail running event held in Dandenong Ranges National Park, located under an hour from Melbourne’s CBD. Taking place in October and based at Kalorama Memorial Reserve, the event features a 46k Double Loop Ultra, a 23k Single Loop, a 12k Mad Mouse Twilight run, a 5k Family Run, and a 2k Carousel Trail Run for children. The course reflects its name with winding tracks, sharp turns, and undulating trails. The 46k race consists of two laps of the 23k course, with the second lap run in the opposite direction. Additionally, the weekend offers 35k and 58k two-day stage race options, combining the shorter races. SingleTrack Events initiated the race in 2012, and it now attracts over 1,500 participants to the woodlands near Kalorama.
