Midsummer-Triathlon 2026

The Midsummer-Triathlon is a sprint-distance triathlon held in Schleswig-Holstein, with locations listed in both Großensee and Großenwiehe. The race follows the short triathlon format: a 500 m swim, a 20 km bike ride, and a 5 km run. It is open to elite and U23 athletes, as well as amateur and age-group participants. The event distinguishes between licensed DTU athletes and hobby triathletes in its results, providing separate male and female rankings for each category. Amateur racers also have the option to compete in a mixed relay, which uses the same swim-bike-run distances and has specific age requirements for each leg. Registration for the most recent edition saw high demand, with two-thirds of the available spots filled within 48 hours of opening.
